Electronic Claims
The Claims Processing Screen displays claims for a particular form type and allows the user to modify claims, batch claims or send claims individually. One of the strengths of MicroMD is the ablity to send electronic claims to most of the major carriers or through a clearinghouse.

Batch Posting
Batch Payment Posting is helpful if an insurance carrier pays the office with one check covering several insurance plans within that insurance class. (An isurance class groups insurance plans under the same umbrella.) Batch Charge Posting is helpful in large practices that use centralized billing where the users post charges sometime after the service. This allows users to batch post procedures for a wide range of patients at one time.
