Our philosophy behind our implementation methodology revolves
around partnership and client satisfaction. While the overall
processes are very similar, every implementation has unique
client-specific attributes that affect the individual process.
We believe that building a partnership is key to the success.
We assign an implementation project manager to each new client.
The project manager serves as a technical management liaison
between the client and Harbor Technology Group during implementation.
The project manager works to fully understand the client's goals
during and after the implementation and coordinate the resources
to make the implementation a success. This position will continue
until the hardware and software are in a production environment.
The services provided by the project manager fall into two categories:
- Planning and coordination of the delivery
of contracted services
- Regular communication about project status
to key personnel at the client
site and at Harbor Technology Group
Data
Conversion Services
Data Conversions ensures a successful implementation
Because time is your most valuable asset, data conversions
from your existing practice management application should
always be part of a successful implementation plan. At Harbor
Technology Group over half of our installations each year
include some form of data conversion from another practice
management system. Data conversions save your staff time required
to re-key information into the our Practice Management Applications.
We can usually convert patient information, insurance company
information, diagnosis, and procedure information. While many
other software vendors will encourage you to parallel both
systems for some period of time, well consult you to
simply stop using your old system to allow you the ability

Training
Quality training is the best way to unlock your system's
full potential.
Our training department is committed to delivering effective,
reliable software instruction. New clients are provided with
comprehensive, on-site training. In some cases, preparatory
training for representatives sent to one of our facilities
is available. But in most cases, training is conducted on-site,
using your own data to learn the software features and procedures.
Classroom Training
Comprehensive training programs at one of our facilities is
available for employees from your organization.
At Your Site Training
Our software trainers work as an extension of your practice
to ensure that your staff is effectively applying all of the
knowledge that they have acquired in our initial training
sessions. Generally, a practice will require several "on
site" training sessions to become fully functional on
the system. A session is defined as: a Harbor Technology Group
employee being at your practice for a minimum of two (4) hours
and a maximum of eight (8) hours.

Software
Support Services
Harbor Technology Group offers full ongoing support for your
system. When you need to be walked through a certain element
of the software or have questions about writing ad-hoc reports,
our support staff will be ready to assist you. We offer an
extended support program with both a support hotline and account
managers. Our support hotline is available five days a week
with extended support hours available. In addition, the hotline
is staffed by customer service specialists that are committed
to your complete satisfaction. Our personal account managers
have the tools and experience necessary to meet your practice's
specialized needs.
With a majority of our personnel devoted to client services,
Harbor Technology Group is dedicated to delivering personalized
customer support.
